Downloading (and Launching) the Connector

 DOWNLOADING THE QUICKBOOKS® CONNECTOR

Before CurrentTrack data can be integrated with QuickBooks, you must first download the Connector application, by clicking here.

After you’ve clicked the appropriate download link, a file named currentTrack-connector.msi will appear on your desktop.

Click on the currentTrack-connector.msi file to open it. At the Security prompt, click Run.

Once open, the QuickBooks Connector Setup Wizard will guide you through the installation process, step-by-step.

At the User Account Control screen, click Yes. This will allow the QuickBooks Connector application to make the necessary changes to your computer.

At the Installation Complete prompt, click Close.

LAUNCHING THE QUICKBOOKS CONNECTOR

In the Start menu, go to All Programs > CurrentTrack; click QuickBooks Connector. If it’s already available in the Start menu, simply click QuickBooks Connector.

At the Security prompt, click Run.

Once the QuickBooks Connector is open, click Setup.

Enter your CurrentTrack login information, NOT your QuickBooks log in information; click Save.

Confirm QuickBooks is open with the Company file you wish to use; click Connect.

In the next window, choose a Yes option and then click Continue.

Once the Connector has successfully been launched, the name of your Company and Data File will appear. Before a sync can take place between CurrentTrack and QuickBooks, you must prepare a Worksheet.
